Feriestedet lukket i januar.

Modest but functional
Has this resort re-opened?
Not yet, however, Wellfit Zion is open in St George UT. Hoping Wellfit Malibu will reopen Summer 2018

Is this resort still open? I've called/emailed/Facebook messaged multiple times over the past 2-3 weeks with no response.
WellFit has been closed for NOV and DEC as they may be moving to another property. I am hoping to hear something about the new opening after the first of 2017.

Hello - there is a picture posted by this user that shows 'Biggest Loser Resort' in the background, and he references 'Biggest Loser'. I'm confused, is this a review of Wellfit malibu, or the Biggist Loser Resort in Palm Desert, CA? Or, are they somehow related?? Thanks!
The Wellfit property was previously "the biggest Loser" ranch.

I weight 200 pounds... I have purchased 4 weeks. How much weight should I aim to lose guys ? My fitness level is intermediate :) thanks for your help! Xx
I don't think you can predict your weight loss. I was there for a month and I was so positive I would lose 20 to 25 pounds but I lost 14. However, I gained muscle mass and dropped from wearing a XL bathing suit to a standard medium. I had to go buy a new suit for my last week. To maximize your experience, show up for every workout and maybe swim some laps in the evening if you feel you need more. It's hard at times but just remember how much money you spent and don't be tempted to take a nap here or there. 4 weeks is a long time and the schedule started to feel like a grind for me toward the very end. I've read that they have less exercise scheduled during the day now. I liked going nonstop all day so if I went back I would definitely have to swim at night or hit the punching bag at night. Also, Sunday is/was a day off but I would go to the beach and do the Saturday Beach hike by myself. If you don't have a car you can get a basketball at the desk and shoot hoops or, again, swim. If you work hard in every class, you will build muscle and your number on the scale won't drop as quickly. I personally, didn't eat the desserts or the entire meal every time. I skipped soup and salad bar items or if I had soup that was all I had. I went before the new ownership so the food may have changed but I felt the calories and amount of food were too much for me. You can talk to the nutritionist about the food/calories.

Quick question....isn't the point of going to a resort like this to push yourself beyond what you think you can do? If you were comfortable after the hike, then you probably weren't pushing yourself hard enough. Change only happens when you push yourself outside your comfort zone.
