Lyt til anmeldelserne her! Undgå for enhver pris!

Hi, I have booked the double room for my family. I Realized later that the property does not have a lift. In which floor do you have these rooms as it might be inconvenient if the rooms are in higher floors.
My partner and I lived in this hostel for more than a month, I'll attempt to answer your question. Hostelpoint has three floors for tourists, the fourth floor is for short-term residents, there is a double room on each floor (all of the rooms are in the eastern corner of the building, the windows have views of the Brighton Pier and the sea. If I may say so, few other hotels or hostels in the city, have better views of all the activity going on the beach or blissful blue sea. At the moment, I wish I was in Brighton, too. But, here is some inside information. First, the best double room in the hostel, is on the first floor (you could ask for it, they're all the same price). I can't remember which, but the double room on either the third or fourth floor has a very uncomfortable mattress on a queen size bed (you should ask to try out the mattress first, you might be able to choose a room, if there are enough vacancies). While many hostelpoint rooms have massive bay windows, ones that face the sea (but there are others, that face a parking lot in the back). The following dormitory rooms have windows, that face the sea; they are #15,14 and 13; #25,24 and 23 and #35,34 and 33. I believe the double rooms are #12, #22 and #32. Also, if you wish to save money, you could rent a two person dormitory (two person bunk bed) including private bath; this option is cheaper than a double room, but it has a view of a brick wall, but it is very quiet, at least. #16,#26 and #36 are the only two person dorms in the hostel. One last thing, the stairs on the third floor are narrower and more difficult to transverse than the first and second floors, if you can imagine that. You'll get a lot of exercise, but who knows, it's possible, that the children will enjoy it. It puts the phrase "climbing the stairs" into a new light. You should ask the hostel to give you and your family a tour of the kitchen; fortunately there is a kitchen, which is veryrefreshing. The long term resident backpackers living on the fourth floor, often make full use of the kitchen facilities. I found the majority of them to be lovely people. Apologies, for my long winded answer. Have Fun, Cheers!

Where can you park a car nearby?
For daytime parking you'd probably need to head up to Albion Hill or Southover street and find a spot in one of the roads off those, street parking there is free and unlimited. Closer to the hostel the street parking is short-term and not exactly cheap, and if you're lucky you might find a spot in an all-day underground car park. They're often already full though and also cost a little. Imo it's much easier to park further out and walk a little, or choose a hostel further from the pier area.
