How long of a train ride from Tambo del Inka to MP? Once you get to MP by train is it a long walk to the sacred valley? We are traveling with our 2 year old and are looking for the easiest way to MP.

The vista dome would be a perfect train to take to Aguas Caliente. Then it is a 5 minute walk to the bus. The bus ride is about 20 minutes.

We took the luxury train and it took about two and a half hours if I remember correctly. I'm not sure that I would recommend that with a two year old, the regular train (vista dome) would be perfect. Definitely depart from the station at the hotel - it was amazingly convenient. The walk from the train station to the van service that goes up to MP is about 10 minutes.
