I was made to feel very welcome by Mark and Pippa. The horses were in beautiful condition and very much loved. I had a wonderful two hour ride and checked by Pippa all the way that I was comfortable and happy. I would recommend a ride out or stay to anyone who likes riding as their hospitality was so warming!!

An amazing and beautiful time we had at Pippa’s Paddock, the family were so lovely with us, we were celebrating my husband’s 70th birthday and the family went above and beyond even making my husband a fabulous birthday cake, alongside amazing spaghetti and an array of food and wine. The horses are absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed the riding with Pippa who went above and beyond again to cater for myself a beginner and my husband more experienced at riding, it was and will continue to be the highlight of our trip to Sicily, thank you to the whole family for a truly unforgettable day. If you like horses, cats, dogs and the Sicilian countryside then this is the place for you. A family run business which caters for the simple things. Excellent food (it’s not a light lunch, it’s a large lunch) and the horses are loved, looked after and are lovely to ride.
No better way to see this lovely rural country.
Pippa is a very accomplished rider and looks after you.

It was an impromptu stay during a trip around Sicily with friends and we had a great few days here. Some horse riding and some just chilling or walking. Mark is an excellent host and made use feel very welcome.

I had such a wonderful time with Mark and the horses. I was shown nothing but kindness and really made to feel so welcome like I was part of the family. The horses are beautiful and well looked after and the feeling of galloping through the Sicilian countryside is unmatched.
Mark was a fantastic host and incredibly knowledgeable. This was definitely the highlight of my trip and I can’t wait to return in the future.

We had an amazing week in Alia as our base. We experienced five days trekking on fabulous horses through the most stunning countryside imaginable. Our hosts Mark and Pippa were top class catered for all our needs. From Alia we travelled throughout Sicily with Mark as our driver and guide. He had a remarkable knowledge of the local history. We got a true insight into Sicily life past and present. Overall we had a memorable week which we will cherish .

Me and my 3 friends had the best time at Pippa’s Paddock!
We spent a week and the amount of things we did and saw definitely exceeded our expectations.
Mark and Pippa are very flexible and we got to do everything we wanted - if not more! We saw many beautiful villages and everywhere we went Mark had some interesting facts to tell. We visited Palermo, Catania, mount Etna and we rode horses 5 days…at the end we were all amazed as to how much we did during 7 days stay.
The location of the property is spectacular - it’s quiet, beautiful views and nature all around you.
I highly recommend the place :)

If you are up for a rustic organic adventure then Pippa’s Paddock is for you - whether you have super riding experience or not. Pippa caters for all levels of rider and adapts her trails accordingly. You will be emersed in nature and sometimes it will all feel so unreal. There are lovely surprises along your journeys.
Mark is a super host and will accommodate daily visits to landmarks of your interest. No request will be ignored. Sicily has so much to offer, and Mark has extensive knowledge on its history.
I am envious of those who will visit as they will get to experience it for their first time. It is purely magical.

If you are after a hassle free holiday, full of adventure, amazing scenery and endless fun, Pippa's Paddock is definately the place for you!
Mark picked us up from the airport and back and made sure that our time there was well organised. From aqua parks to adventure parks, quiet walks through towns, horse riding with breathtaking views and amazing local food, this definately was a holiday to remember and repeat 😊
