Absolutely lovely !
aug. 2019 • Familierejse
Today we visited Monkey Beach with our 3 kids , aged 15, 10 and 4 and started rather late , we left the hotel at noon but what a day !
A tour bus collected us and we were off on a short boat trip, we fished for the first time and caught two fishes; a small snapper and an admirable Catfish , the kids were thrilled .
Then we arrived at Monkey Beach which was compact but had everything to offer for convenience , lunch was quite nice cooked by Fatima and Rosa (our captains wife) and fruits were incredible , all included in the trip fee of RM450 .
The water was very clean unlike what was described in other reviews , we didn’t find one plastic bottle or litter anywhere on the beach as these were collected on the spot by the workers in the shacks, this beach is by far cleaner , more authentic and enjoyable than FiFi island in Thailand which is over run by tourists and their residues .
I would recommend it to everybody visiting Penang just make sure you choose a pleasant day with nice weather to really enjoy it to the max.

お昼を挟んでの半日ツアー
aug. 2019

船1艘 Rm220(約5900円)、昼食のBBQ料金 Rm35(約940円)、
4人で一人当たりRm90(約2400円)です。船からの釣りも付いています。

食事もおなか一杯になりました。飲み物等はビーチで売っています。
食事時間になると、猿がたくさん集まってきます。

Nice beach and not crowded
feb. 2019 • Familierejse
We just came back from Penang yesterday.. and we had chance to take a boat ride from the national park jetty to turtle sanctuary and stopped here on our way back.

The beach is suitable for kids as the water is not deep.

持つ食べ物を世話するのに

長いビーチの地域で、静かでボートは余暇によく見られます。いつも動物の目標のため、持つ食べ物を世話するのに大切です。

Hike great beach not
okt. 2018 • Alene
The best part is the walk to this beach. Through the jungle and over the trees.

The beach itself is a bit dirty and unexciting.

Monkeys are thieves so be careful.

Can also get a boat here from the entrance

Boat ride to Monkey Beach
jul. 2018
We took a boat ride to Monkey Beach (although we could have hiked), which was enjoyable and a nice way to see the area. The beach is relaxing, but not very large. Lots of monkeys - be careful they will steal your food.

Nice and lace thank visit at Penang

The best way to get there from Ferringhi area is to take a bus 101 to the last stop (Penang Park) it is 2 Myr per person. Use Grab as alternative .
There are several boat services right at the last stop. You can walk all the way to the monkey beach (about 3km) or walk half way and get picked up by the boat to the beach then set return time and they will pick you up and bring to the same place where you got off the bus. This will cost around 70-80 myr total for up to 6 people.
The beach has drinks ( including beer and even some liquor) and basic food like fried rice or noodles or grilled assortment (few vendors) .
Beach is sandy, water deep right few steps from the shore.
Snorkeling not possible here as visibility is about 1-2 foot.
You can swim thou or rent a jet ski.
Just relax on a beach. Can rent lounge chair / umbrella for 5 MYR.
This is what hotel would sell for ~100 MYR/ person.
Good idea is to spend a half day on the monkey beach and on the way back to stop be the spice garden. Need about 1 to 1.5 hours to visit. They will provide mosquito repellent. 30 MYR per person entry fee. Across the road from the spice garden, there is also a decent beach where you can wash off the repellent after you’re done. The 101 bus stop is right by the spice garden entrance, so still can use the same bus to commute. And again, Grab rules in Malaysia - say simple and cheap.

Remote beach
dec. 2017 • Familierejse
Teluk Duyung popularly known as Monkey Beach for the long tailed macaques that sometimes roam the beaches here and raid beach goers picnics. This remote beach is just a kilometre long and fringed by forest and is accessible through a jungle trail from Teluk Bahang National Park or by boat. At the end of the beach, the trail leads towards the lighthouse at Muka Head. It is an hour and halves hike from the park entrance but most day trippers come by boat so the beach can get crowded during weekends and holidays.

Lovely

I have got to say, the actual beach is not that impressive. It's really touristy, pollution in the water because of all the boats and jet ski' s. But the hike to get there is absolutely amazing. At some parts a little challenging if you're not used to hiking but the national park is beautiful, green and there are lots of monkeys to see. We saw two different species, one of them stole our mango' s though so be careful with your stuff!
