It was my first time in Maui and I wanted to do non-touristy stuff so, we booked this tour. It is a beautiful property and I totally enjoyed the Landscape but, I expected more plants and to be able to at least taste some of the fruits grown. The Restaurant was awesome and the food was amazing, one of the best meals we had on the Island!

Interesting and relaxing day. We took the tram and found it fun and educational. The stop for coconut husking and sculpture gallery were highlights.

Fun for adults and Kids. A fun way to educate about plants and animals of Hawaii. Our guide was friendly and helpful. Beautiful atmosphere, would recommend.

Fun for a family trip. The tram tour is interesting and short enough to hold everyone’s attention. Learned about coconut husking by demonstration. There were shops and a cafe and restaurant to walk around and see. You can also feed the ducks and birds which is fun for kids.

We spent a great morning here, and wish we had more time to explore. The shops are filled with locally made treasures, the restaurant was excellent and the tram ride interesting. The coconut demonstration was very educational and fun to see.

The plantation grounds are more beautiful than I imagined! The tour was great and we all enjoyed seeing the sculptures along the tour. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has not been and plan to return next time I visit.

What a wonderful tour! Our tour guide was lovely and highly knowledgeable about the topics covered in the tour. The tour included a journey through the plantation, a coconut shucking demonstration, and a visit to a magical sculpture studio complete with a walkthrough led by the world famous sculptor himself. What a unique and enjoyable experience!

We really enjoyed visiting this beautiful plantation. It was fun and educational. Our grandchildren loved the “train ride” and the coconut cracking demonstration, as well as feeding the ducks. I can’t wait to try cracking a coconut on my own! Staff were kind and helpful. We also enjoyed some delicious coffee and goodies at the cafe.

There is a shop right at the entrance , it is pretty big , I believe they close at 5 o’clock. I am pretty sure they sell the coconut oil .

We booked directly with the Plantation. $20 each person to ride the tram. This is the only fee they charge. You can walk it for free. Wish we had known that before we spent $40. You will definitely want to eat at The Mill Hos Restaurant. Happy hour drink and menu prices ar from 2-4:00

Guests of our tram tour will receive a complimentary sampling of fresh pineapple and some strawberry papaya. Fresh tropical fruits and produce grown on the surrounding farms can be purchased at our Kumu Farms stand located on the property, open from 10am - 4pm Monday - Saturday.

We do not charge an admission fee or parking.
Here at Maui Tropical Plantation, we do offer daily tram tours for a value of $20.- zip line services and we count with a restaurant, coffee house, gift shop, farm stand and many other services.
Is there a free self guided tour at this plantation instead of the tram tour? If so, how do we go about to doing a self tour; where to go, who to contact, how long can we take self guided tour, is there a path to take, etc.
