È stata una esperienza indimenticabile. Ana, Ralph e Octavio sono state delle guide superbe! Ci hanno ricevuti a casa loro non come si ricevono i turisti o clienti ma come si ricevono gli amici. Dopo uno spuntino di metà mattinata con prodotti di prima qualità ed una breve introduzione di ciò che saremo andati a vedere ci hanno portato a fare una gita con la loro romantica imbarcazione tra i canali del Delta del Tigre. Anna s'è prodigata nel raccontarci come si svolge la vita in questo meraviglioso posto rispondendo anche alle nostre numerose domande. Per pranzo, Ralph ch'è un cuoco di professione, ci ha cucinato sulla barca un pranzo squisito accompagnato con un ottimo Malbec. La gita è finita a casa loro con una sessione di mate e Octavio cantando e suonando con la chitarra canzoni di folclore argentino. Esperienza super consigliata!

Ana, Ralph and their son Octavio are the best hosts ever… Since the very beginning you feel like with old friends…
They’re also very knowkedgeable about the history, society and hàbits in the delta, and their explanations and conversations about birds and nature are awesome and make the difference
Their house, the boat, the food and their company make you feel really confortable.
If the prize of a whole day experience is expensive or not is a matter of your priorities: just a tour or a GREAT experience with real human beings
They’re also very knowkedgeable about the history, society and hàbits in the delta, and their explanations and conversations about birds and nature are awesome and make the difference
Their house, the boat, the food and their company make you feel really confortable.

Ana and Ralph provided us with our best day in the Buenos Aires area! Ana knows so much about the history, ecology, birds, and culture of this unusual and beautiful area, and Ralph is a stellar cook, captain, adventurer, and navigator. It was an incredibly relaxing day filled with fabulous stories, great conversations, and a 5-course lunch feast (in addition to two other light meals/snacks). They planned it all out really well, thinking of every detail. I think everyone should go on this trip if at all possible!

There are not enough stars to rate how wonderful this experience was. From the moment we met Anna and Ralf we knew this was going to be a great day. Their kindness and generosity in letting us into their home, their passion and knowledge of the flora and fauna of the delta and Ralf’s incredible preparation of the most delicious food could not have been any more perfect.
Thank you both for creating a memory we will have with us forever.

We first visited Ana and Ralph in 2011, before moving abroad. Now we came back with our two kids, 13 years later, only to find that the experience is still amazing and gets even better!
Ralph remains an excellent cook, Ana is still the most awesome tour guide one can ask for, and together they make this a unique experience.
They know how to capture the essence of the Delta, combined with the most delicious food, and making you feel like you are part of their family.
I highly recommend this experience, not only to foreigners but also to locals.
Thank you, Ana and Ralph, for such an amazing day! We'll definitely come back!

Ana and Ralph have created a beautiful experience for anyone traveling to Buenos Aires. They are the most generous and kind couple. It was an honor to be welcomed into their home and to learn about life on the delta.
When we first arrived, Ana and Ralph showed us around their home and fed us homemade bread and tea. Ana took the time to tell us about the land and the surrounding environment before we hopped onto their boat and set sail around the delta.
The boat portion of the day was a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Ana is extremely knowledgeable about the area and the waterways. I learned so much about the region from the trees to the climate and the various animals that live there.
The highlight for me was the meal they served us on the boat. Ralph is an accomplished chef and the meal alone was worth the cost of the tour. Every part of our lunch was so fresh and thoughtful from the homemade dips to go with the vegetables to the wine they sourced from their friend's vineyard in Mendoza. Ralph expertly cooked a steak that ended up being the best I had during my entire visit to Buenos Aires.
The day flew by as we enjoyed the views of the river and great conversation with our hosts. After a full day out on the water, we returned to homemade ice cream and we concluded the day with Ana showing us the proper way to enjoy mate.
Ana and Ralph go above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience. Ana is an amazing photographer and she was taking photos throughout the day. She sent us copies so quickly and they are easily my favorite pictures from the trip. I am so glad that I was able to go on this tour -- anyone traveling to Argentina must make it a point to spend a day with Ana and Ralph!

The Delta Unplugged trip is an absolute must if you’re traveling to Argentina. Ana and Ralph provide a unique experience explaining the history and everyday life on the Tigre Delta.
Whether it’s the tour of their residence and its historical significance or the boat ride through the narrow streams of the Delta amongst the natural landscapes and wildlife, every part of this excursion was well-planned and perfectly executed.
The lunch that Ralph provided was nothing short of a Michelin star-worthy dining experience. Fresh, colorful and delicious only begin characterize this meal. The post-trip Maté lesson Ana shared was a fun cultural experience and the perfect conclusion to an adventurous day.
In addition, the logistics were very convenient for visitors. The car services and boat taxi’s were arranged. All dietary restrictions were taken into account. Lastly, Ana provided (professional) photos that she took throughout the trip in a digital repository, free of charge.
Overall, Ana and Ralph’s passion, generosity and thoughtfulness are unmatched. Don’t bother booking any other boat tour and enjoy Delta Unplugged!

Anna and Ralph were absolutely amazing in giving us an informative and fun tour through the Delta. We were able to experience life and learn so much about the community and way of life. Ralph cooked us a breathtakingly fresh lunch eaten on the boat. Anna taught us the proper etiquette while drinking mate. I had to go to the airport for a flight and Anna organized a driver to ensure I would make it on time. Overall, this was one of the highlights of our week-long trip to Argentina. I'd highly recommend this experience to anyone with a full day free in Buenos Aires.

If I could move in and stay forever, I would. This place is magical, beautiful, so unlike anywhere I’ve ever been before. Ana and Ralph are the perfect hosts, and if they lived nearby. I would want to be best friends with them. Such interesting and knowledgable people! Ralph’s food is to die for, and Ana’s knowledge about the natural environment was very helpful as I was discovering birds and plants and taking photos of everything around me. Even better, Ana uploaded all of her photos to website… and she is clearly a much better photographer than I am! We saw so many birds that I have never seen before.
This is probably not an excursion for everyone… For instance, I wouldn’t take my parents in their 80s because they would have trouble navigating the stairs of the pier, getting on and off the boat, etc. And it’s not a ‘part cruise’. But if you are able bodied, love nature, and enjoy authentic people and great food, do not miss this tour!

They take care of it. They have someone pick u up at hotel and take u to boat taxi which takes u to their home. It’s the best
