We love to visit Asbury Park, and it just wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Paranormal Tower! The shop itself is always filled with interesting books and accoutrements, staff is friendly and informative, and their events are first rate! This visit, we decided to take the museum tour. We’ve never done it before, so we were quite excited. Our tour guide Sarah was amazing! She was an absolute fount of information, and she had so many fun anecdotes to share, as well! The tour was well-paced- we never lingered too long, but we were also never rushed. There’s quite a lot to see there, as well! My son’s favorite part was an authentic plague mask. I really enjoyed the Ed Warren painting, the Annabelle painting, and the doll collection. There’s definitely something for everyone from those interested in the paranormal, to those interested in history itself.

This is probably the best selection of books I've ever seen for the paranormal. so much so that I found it a little overwhelming but was glad that the options were there. I also did the tour and enjoyed it quite a bit. I can't say that anything extraordinarily spooky happened, but there was one sound I heard come from a case that the guide and one member of my group did not hear. Also while we were near one artifact myself and another member felt our throats going dry which would seem to be due to the artifact but who knows? I did enjoy the tour and the shop though.

This small, fascinating museum/bookshop is definitely worth a visit if you're even remotely interested in the paranormal. This place takes up two floors of a spindly building, with the first floor being a bookshop stuffed with all manner of paranormal paraphernalia, and the second floor being a fascinating museum of assorted items. We also took a walking tour that combined the history of Asbury Park with a very rich history of paranormal activity in the area - there's much more than I realized! The tour was very interesting and I learned a lot.

We came from Ohio on vacation mainly to see The Paranormal Museum The stories are intriguing and the artifacts are even more so! The book store is pretty amazing!
Believe it when I say there is more to the museum then meets the eye,
Our guide Andrea, was very knowledgeable not only about the stories but also about the history of New Jersey and Asbury Park as well as the time frames and environs that surround the stories and artifacts.
We liked it so much, that we came back for the night tour with Andrea as our guide and it was just as amazing as the museum! Asbury Park is rich in Paranormal stories! I’ll be back!

The shop is a great place to visit if you are a bit curious about the unknown and paranormal. And if you are lucky enough to be on a tour, you may really become interested more because our guide, Becca, was well versed and can pique your interest.

Ken was awesome. Very informative and really nice. Answered all our questions and was very patience while we looked around. Highly recommend!

I took the one-hour tour of The Paranormal Museum while I was spending a day in Asbury Park on my own. My guide Indigo and I had an amazing time talking about the artifacts, the history of the town, and Indigo's experiences with paranormal investigation. She was very knowledgeable and also very sensitive to what I was comfortable with since it was my first time doing any tour like this. I wish I had been in town longer so I would be able to do the After Dark or Walking Tour, and I'll definitely be going back when I can!

This was the best experience I have ever had. Ken and Indigo are very knowledgeable, fun, amazing tour guides. I have never been here before and I had multiple encounters with a child spirit. Also there is a clown named marcel that sat on a swing. As Ken was talking the strings on the swing started to move. Eventually marcel would be facing where ever I was standing in the room. It was an amazing unforgettable experience I would love to come back one day to do this again and possibly meet Cathy the owner I hear nothing but how great of a person she is and all she has done for the community of Asbury Park. This was my first visit here I am from Baltimore and I would love to come back.

Ken was a great tour guide. The tour was interesting and we had a lot of fun! Incorporating some videos into the tour of paranormal activities you’ve personally captured would be really cool!!

We took a two-hour Inner Sanctum Tour on an evening in October 2021. There were six of us plus TJ, our tour guide. They emptied the bookstore, locked the doors, lowered the lights and took us up to the museum. To our knowledge, we were the only 7 people in the building. The building is reportedly haunted and we believe it. We heard footsteps run upstairs directly overhead. One person in our tour saw some sort of movement that was acknowledged by the guide. She was unsettled enough to leave the tour a little early. We would highly recommend the tour, even if we didn’t have the unexplained incidents. We enjoyed hearing about and investigating the haunted/cursed items. TJ was a very knowledgeable guide. It was a fun and spooky evening.
