Not sure if this is a regular thing, but I bought tickets for the 12 O’clock trip at 11am ( there were plenty of places left on the 1130, but was not offered).
Was asked if I want a receipt (2 adults 2 kids, NZ$373), I said no thanks, all good. 5 minutes later the cashier finds me and tells me my payment didn’t go through, and I’d need to pay again if I wanted to to the trip.
Not sure if she knew I could check my online banking immediately, so I sign in and showed her the payment (pending), she doubled down and said that didn’t work, and I’d need to pay again.
Long story short, I didn’t pay again, original payment worked fine.
No apology, made to feel like a thief, avoid, or be prepared to be scammed.
