Think I've done abput 15 escape rooms now but first time with this company. Myself, another adult, and 3 young teens who have not done rooms before.
Chose to do the spy room. Host said it was their first room and had been kept original which does show in the slightly tired decor. A single room but plenty of space for the 5 of us. Puzzles done more than one atva tune which means there is something for everyone to do rather than all working on 1 puzzle at a time. A good level for novices of all ages. Not the best I've been to but sensible price for what we got and the kids had a great time. Maybe will try one with more theme next time.

Really good fun, brilliant room with lots of great clues, the staff where fantastic and really helpful (thankfully)

Went with a group of five friends. Managed to escape the pirate room in 58 minutes so challenging but not impossible. Well thought out puzzles and clues. One of the cheaper options in mk but still worth it.

Today we decided to do a room escape, it is the first time we have done one of these. Our host was very helpful and explained the game really well. We did the Spy Room and it was set out really well, I would recommend anyone having a go and it’s for all ages. Also really good way to work together.

Worst escape room we’ve ever been to. I would rate it less if I would. Terrible experience. Awful room, furniture falling apart and handmade clues that clearly needed to be re-made. Absolute waste of money. Much better rooms out there, we would 100% recommend Escape Hunt in the Xscape :D

Our time at Room Escape MK didn’t start well, with the host turning up late so we were left waiting outside pressing a button to get in. Directional sign on the street is tired and needs updating. Waiting area is also in need of updating. The host also suggested the three of us try an easier room as the one we had chosen was the most difficult, but we didn’t listen to his advice and kept the room we had paid for. The background story for each room was given to us on a tatty laminated piece of paper which again needs to be replaced.
We did the Palace Plot room and again things in the room need updating. Some props are old and tatty and some are handmade that have now seen better days. The clues themselves were good and kept us interested it’s just that the environment isn’t well maintained and could do with being replaced. I don’t want to spend £60+ on an activity and have things sellotaped together or wobbly!
Having said all of this we did enjoy our time here and we did manage to escape with 5 and a half minutes to spare. We enjoyed the surprise this room had to offer too which was a nice touch.
If some time and money was invested into making this place more up to date it would get a better review, don’t get me wrong, it was fun and we all enjoyed solving the clues but it could have been so much better which was a real shame.

We contacted Room Escape MK a day or two before we made the booking with an unusual request of having two people verse each other in separate rooms, one player in the pirate room and another in the spy room whilst being filmed for a social media challenge. They were very accommodating and went above and beyond when we got there. He even went to the shop to buy us water. It was a very enjoyable experience for the two players and the rooms were fantastic, particularly the pirate room looked really good, hope you don't mind the dark though. Would definitely recommend it!

I was bit skeptical at first but once the game started, I really enjoyed the experience...and for me personally, this was one of my favourite escape rooms. Thanks Room Escape MK.

Had an excellent time on the Irate Pirate! Super clever course that gets gradually more difficult. The host was super happy and kind and we honestly had a great hour! If you are on the fence, go for it!
