Our son Alex has longed to be a pilot and this is his 19th birthday. We had a phenomenal time. We flew in the 737 simulator and our Captain was an amazing and charming host. He put us at ease amazingly. The intro video was v useful and the experience on flight was brill. It felt so real. I
I’m having the Miracle on the Hudson experience next June! Will be booking!

Call me a sceptic but I was concerned that driving from Kent to sit in a simulator in Coventry may not meet my expectations. However, it was a present and I was definitely going to give it a go. Oh! I was so, so wrong. An excellent introduction and overview video followed by 90 minutes of total enjoyment. My pilot instructor was Captain Steve Moody. Absolutely brilliant, with his assistance we took off from LaGuardia, landed at JFK. Took off and landed in New Zealand and for the shear hell of it took off and flew the Grand Canyon. 90 mins went so quickly and every second was a joy. My sincere thanks to Captain Steve and the team for a superb experience!

Absolutely first class experience in the Airbus simulator. Started with a briefing delivered as a series of videos, explaining about the airbus and how it flies. Then on to the flying with instructor Sarah. Sarah explained the how and what of the flight management systems and instruments and how to program them very clearly. The experience of flying was superb, again thanks to Sarah’s super tuition and patience. I can thoroughly recommend this to anyone who has ever wondered what it’s like to fly an Airbus. Thank you to everyone at Flight Simulators Midland. Top Christmas present!

What a brilliant experience. Steve M let me fly LHR to DUB. A route I have flown so many times in an actual plane.Wow. Then we flew through The Grand Canyon. We didn't have time to land so (maybe I shouldn't say this but....;-) he let me crash it! BRILLIANT.

Spent an hour flying an Airbus A320 with a very helpful instructor called Phil. It was awesome, worth every penny, so realistic. Phil expertly guided me thru the intricate flying procedures and made sure that I had an absolute blast. Only touble is...it comes to an end too quickly. Would recommend this to anyone who wants an experience they wont forget.

Had the most amazing experience "flying" the A320. My instructor, Josh, was fantastic. He calmly talked me through the controls that I would be using and was very patient with me, I'm not too good with technology and gadgets. Josh asked which airport I'd like to fly into/out of. I picked Dubai. It was amazing to see the sights of Dubai from the cockpit, as we did a kind of flypast around the skies and took in all the major sights. Josh then asked where to, and I said Sydney. He suggested that I ought to try JFK. I'm glad he mentioned it, as it was great being told what to look out for. In this case it was a freeway followed by a hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience and planning my next one as I type.

My experience of the P51D Mustang flight simulator was excellent. The instructor was brilliant and I learned two or three new things that I could apply in my PC DCS World VR simulator at home that immediately improved my piloting skills.

This was my first experience with FSM, flying the A320 and it was brilliant! I had some home sim experience and after talking with Captain Sarah in the briefing, she was happy for me to dive straight in and go through more technical parts and systems of the aircraft. I really enjoyed the experience, all the team were fantastic and very accommodating. Big thanks to Sarah for making it a great session and I've already booked in for a longer session.

Visited with my wife as a birthday gift. I had a fantastic flight in the 747 simulator with Nigel as the instructor. Great team and had a great time! The briefing was also very interesting before the flight. Thank you

My son and I had a great time on the Boeing 737 flight simulater.Thanks to captain Phil who was very patient with us and very helpful. It was nice to get an incite as to what goes on in the cabin. Thanks to Phil and all at the centre.

hi Captain Chris,
I'm a (lapsed) PPL and I was just wondering if it is possible to spend the time doing simulated touch and goes at Coventry (or wherever..., Gatwick..?) rather than La Guardia to Orlando. (737 simulator).

No problem. You'll need to get to know how to fly the 737 first but then as many T&G's as you wish. - Captain Chris

Does the 737 or airbus simulator actually move? Does it actually feel like your taking off etc

The 737 and A320 move in pitch which is all that an aircraft does. The 747 is static but the visual screen is very large and fools the brain into thinking it is moving. Most people can't believe they weren't moving when they come out. - Captain Chris

Hi Paul. 13 is fine if he has already had some experience on a flight simulator programme on his computer. Ideally he needs to be 5 foot tall to reach the pedals but it's not essential as you only use them on take off. Any other questions, please ring us on 0800 999 7370

Looking to make a booking for my 50th Birthday. Can't decide on Full Motion 737 or static 747! Can anyone please advise on their experience if flown both. Cheers

Hi there. The motion on the 737 and A320 is excellent but the graphics on the 747 are more impressive as it uses a wrap around cinema screen which is better for observers in the flight deck. Coupled with the vibration generator, you will really think you are flying. Tough choice but then you could always come back and fly all 3. You kind of get hooked! -- Captain Chris \rigby

I had a one hour Boeing 737 as one of my Christmas presents. My co-pilot David was first class at instructing me during my flight. We flew from Malaga to Gibraltar and this was as close to the real thing as you will get!

Hi There, I've flown a full motion A320 simulator (1 hour) at the CAE flight training centre in Gatwick. Although this was some time ago, I'm looking to expand on what I learnt. I then went on to fly a PA-28 for real some weeks later (a very different experience altogether). Could you tell me a little more about your simulators please? i.e. full motion? real cockpits and controls?

Morning. Our 320 simulator is the actual nose of G-BUSF back engineered into a simulator. The motion system is in pitch which is the only movement you would normally feel in an aircraft. I think if you read the reviews we have on TA, you will see everyone has had a fantastic experience with us and we do train professional pilots to be ready for interview assessments on this machine. We have a current BA training captain who flies for us occasionally and he is very impressed with it. We are also less than half the price from other motion simulators in the UK.
