Ismail our guide was wonderful. Our family our trip from Cairo to Giza and at the pyramids. He found us real good places for food. I would highly recommend him.

My wife and I had a great time touring the magnificent pyramids and the impressive collections of the Egyptian Museum. Our guide Noura was very knowledgeable and clear in explaining the stories of all the places. She was kind, sincere, and personable. We appreciate her effort to make our day in Cairo special.

We booked a 10 days tour with Egypt Tours Portal that included 5 days in and around Cairo, our guide being the amazing Ismail. Day 1 we arrived at Cairo international airport and were immediately greeted by a representative of Egypt Tours Portal, who took us to the driver, we were taken to the hotel for checkin, Ismail gave us appointment for the next morning. We stayed at the Conrad Cairo hotel, it was simply fantastic!! Day 2 we went on a private tour with Ismail and the driver Eid to visit first Saqqara step pyramid and then Giza Pyramids in the afternoon, after a buffet lunch right next to the pyramids. Those are must places to visit once in a lifetime!! In the evening we had the sound and lights show at the Giza Pyramids, and unfortunately I have to say this was the most underwhelming part of our tour, we found the sound and lights show i.e. at Chichen Itza in Mexico to be so much better. Day 3 in Cairo we toured first the Egyptian Museum and then Islamic Cairo. It was an amazing day, thank you so much Ismail for all you've thought us!! Day 4 we went on a day trip to visit Alexandria, it was amazing, the citadel is simply fantastic, plus the catacombs, Pompeii's pillar. Amazing lunch at the fish market, what a view!! The library was closed so we could only see it from outside. On the way back to Cairo we stopped at Abu Mena, Unesco World Heritage Site, but this was disappointing (even Ismail tried to suggest us another alternate destination), in fact not much is left at Abu Mena and we couldn't understand the importance of the site, let alone the beauty. Day 5 - oh maybe it was the best of them all!! - we went to Wadi El Hitan, whale valley, in the desert, plus waterfalls, magic lake, 4x4 crazy dunes climbing, we had so much fun in this day and I can't stop thanking Ismail enough for taking us there!! I strongly recommend Egypt Tours Portal to anyone wishing to visit Egypt, they can customize the tour to your wishes, the organization is flawless, drivers are very good, you feel really safe, the guides are fantastic (we met 2, Ismail in Cairo and Hossan in Luxor, both amazing). The vehicles are new, with AC, very spacious. This was the trip of a lifetime!!

Picked up at 2.30am arrived at pyramids at 9.30am.
Long drive due to constant hold ups by police.
Driver was pleasant and car was pretty good with leather seats a/c etc.
Pyramids/sphinx was certainly worth the trip!
Would of liked a tour around a market though.
Very long day and would probably fly next time!
Worth the money??? I'd say so...

War eine super Tour. Wir wurden pünktlich im Hotel in Hurghada abgeholt. Die Reiseleiterin nahm uns nach 2 stündiger Wartezeit am Flughagen in Kairo in Empfang (der frühe Flug fiel aus). Sie sprach gut deutsch und englisch. Lieferte viele interessante Informationen über Geschichte, Land und Leute. Wir hatten kaum Wartezeiten bei Eintritten weil sie alles gut vorbereitet hatte und wir Stosszeiten vermeiden konnten! Der Fahrer war zuverlässig und immer sofort vor Ort.

We went on the Giza Pyramids and Egyptian Museum tour with Sarah and could not be happier with our experience! She was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of ancient Egypt, providing an experience that was above and beyond our expectations. She was also energetic, takes a great photo and spoke perfect english. The driver was on time every time and very professional. The included lunch was very good at a buffet style restaurant that included a variety of great local cuisine. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for an exclusive private tour of Giza plateau and the Egyptian museum.

It’s difficult to decide if Emy is a better tour guide or photographer but she is certainly fantastic at both! I can not recommend her more, we got the best photos and back stage tips and tricks everywhere we went… her knowledgeable tour was amazing!

When we decided to go to to Egypt I never thought that I would have such a lovely experience, Egypt is beautiful, it has 5,000 years of history, and is one of the most amazing places I’ve ever been.
Riham made this trip even more special, her knowledge and wisdom made this even better, from the moment she met us at the airport through all our time in Cairo.
She knows the city inside out, knowledge is memorable, she has a degree in egyptology, knows the fun and most important parts of 5,000 years of history and delivered it over three days.
She was super accommodating to our needs, and took care of us in the crazy heat and the intense days, she respected our time and even took us to one of the most amazing local rebut aunts in Cairo for Koshary.
We are back home now, and we have an amazing set of photos and memories because of Riham!
Thank you Riham, we will see you next year.
