We had a wonderful time. The crew was entertaining and attentive and the drinks flowed generously. It seemed a bit crowded at first but as soon as the safety briefing was delivered everyone dispersed and we had plenty of room. And we had some special needs at the end with getting off the ship. This team went above and beyond and were completely gracious thoughout, even arranging for help getting back to our cruise ship. A+ to this team and the excursion!

This is to blame on Travelocity for not checking they should have an idea of what’s going on Had no way of calling them and find out from another operator that they weren’t operating

This was a fun 4 hour trip. While we were not able to snorkel ourselves a lot of people did and they all said the views were amazing. This trip also provided free drinks and a very delicious lunch. The crew was fun and entertaining and the rope jump was a blast. This was a great way to spend part of our day.

We booked this trip a few days before our vacation directly on their website (there is an additional discount to do so). Booking was easy. We received an email the day before with instructions on where to meet. We stayed at the Holiday Inn so it was a short walk to the pier. We waited for about 20 minutes - it was hot and in the direct sun - as it took to a short boat trip to get us out to the catamaran. We didn’t mind being in the second group but it was a lot of waiting which might be hard for someone that wasn’t prepared.
Once on the Mi Dushi, we found seats together but it was tight seating with everyone having their snorkel gear with them - which we were given upon boarding. Fins are big! There was not a lot of shade seating so we were glad we slathered the SPF 50 on.
We made three stops - two of the three had pretty calm water where we all felt comfortable in the water. My son is 8 and had never tried it before and initially was terrified. The crew was very helpful and patient and even provided a lifejacket which helped him feel very comfortable. The middle stop at the Antilla had rougher waters and only my husband went in. He said it was awesome but a bit scary. The other two sites (Boca Catalina and Malmok Beach) had plentiful fish to see and was perfect for beginners and kids. There were other boats in the area but we didn’t feel like it was too crowded.
The equipment was clean and sanitized and worked well. My parents did not snorkel but enjoyed the view from the boat and spending time on the water. The bathrooms were adequate and clean and conveniently near the bar. Speaking of the bar, the drinks were fruity, delicious, unlimited, but not strong. We thought this was very smart since the bar was open the entire trip and drunk snorkeling is never a good idea. The rope swing was awesome too though only a few brave souls tried it. It was fun to watch those who did! Even cooler was watching one of the crew members do a backflip with a willing passenger on his back!!! Crazy cool.
Lunch was awesome. It was a lot of food and everything was fresh. We were offered fish, chicken, cucumber salad, rice and a roll. It was a Friday during Lent so the adults in our group declined the chicken, and we were given extra fish. It was really good. My son said the chicken was really good too. Next time we won’t book on a Friday!
This trip was a highlight of our vacation. We would highly recommend it for multi-generational families like ours as well as couples, friends, etc. It never got too crazy with out of control drunk adults (we’ve experienced that before) yet it was really fun. We will do it again next time we visit Aruba!

Mi Dushi was a great experience for first-time snorkeling! Simple to book, confirm details by phone and locate Hadicurari Pier on Palm Beach. Open bar (the Boom-Boom is a must-try), fun and beachy music vibe, tasty complimentary lunch, and even a rope swing! The crew was friendly, funny, knowledgeable and helpful with snorkeling techniques and tips. Lunch was not your typical bag-lunch; chicken, fish, rice, fresh fruit and salad! Boat itself provided restrooms and plenty of shaded areas. We loved it, 10/10.

At first I struggled to get the hang of breathing under water but once I got it, it was so fun! The water was rough so we didn’t see too much but they fed the fish bread to make them swim around us. The shipwreck was the coolest thing ever! I even did the rope swing 😂 The staff onboard was nice and helpful. Lunch was yummy too!

We did this trip in early Mar 2020. You board at the dock/pier in front of the Moomba Beach Bar & Grill - walk through the Marriot Beach Club to get there. The 3 snorkeling sites were good, The staff were organized and quite professional. The lunch was great.

This is what I got from the web site....Mi Dushi Tours are perfect for all children over 6 years of age and are ideal family adventures. Children may accompany their parents on any Mi Dushi Cruise and have a special discount price. Check each tour section for information. Children should be between 4 – 12 years of age.

last year we did a jolly roger pirate cruise and snorkle with my 4 year old and had a riot. Our cruise ship will not let us take our now 5 year old. She swims on her own and uses a floating vest when snorkling. This time, we brought the teen agers and I want them to try this. How do you waive the 6 yr old requirement?

I was on the afternoon excursion and yes there were young children and they had a great time. The only spot i wouldnt recommend them going in was around the ship wreck but otherwise the water was fine

This will be our first time snorkeling. How do you get in the water from the boat? Do you jump off the side or is there a ladder to climb into the water?
Maureen M
Lakewood Ranch, FL9 bidrag
There is a ladder from the back of the boat. But it is easier to jump with fins on. But makes it easy to climb back up unto the boat. Plus the crew was very helpful with helping

Do they provide life vests to use during the snorkeling? I can't swim, but I have snorkeled before with the vest. Thank you!

Hi, yes of course we provide life vest, snorkel gear as well. Also bear in mind that you can request to the captain to have a crew member assisting you while you are in the water. In the snorkel tours, 2 stops are at shallow reef, and 1 stop at the famous WWII wreck the Antilla. The stop at the wreck is deep so if you are not a good swimmer, I would suggest to stay on board on that stop and enjoy the Caribbean cocktails of the open bar and the vibrant music!

Hello! Thank you and glad I could help! We walked down to the pier that was sent to us in an email a day or so prior to the excursion date. Our travel agent told us to book online before we left for Aruba and we got 10% off for booking online. This is the website we used the Mi Dushi website, the promo code is on the homepage.
If you have an underwater camera or GoPro, bring that. We did not plan accordingly and had to buy a disposable at our resort. Other than that, have a wonderful time on your trip! If you have any further questions, please let me know! -Amanda
